While on vacation in Nassau Paradise Island, we always suggest going out of your “food element” and being a little adventurous with some of our traditional Bahamian dishes (think conch). But sometimes, in the heat of the moment, a sudden craving for good ol’ fashioned American cuisine sneaks up on you. How about the tantalizing smell and taste of Memphis pork spare ribs, Texas sliced beef brisket and whole barbecued chicken? Oh baby, thank goodness for the new Virgil’s Real BBQ, now open at Atlantis.
Marathon Bahamas is in it’s third year of running and has already proven that Running Is … Better In The Bahamas – touting ideal winter temperatures, a historical setting, oceanfront route, scenic cityscapes, and a fast course at an ideal vacation destination.
Race Weekend, January 14 – 15, 2012 includes a Susan G. Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure® 5K on Saturday followed by Marathon Bahamas (marathon, half marathon and 4-person relay) on Sunday.
Our first blog started with, “The wonderful thing about planning a vacation to Nassau Paradise Island is that we don’t have to work hard in convincing you to do so.” We’d like to retract that original statement since we’ve been working hard for the past few months to deliver an online experience that’s beyond anything we’ve ever created. In redesigning our site, we’ve made sure to make it as exciting as a vacation in Nassau Paradise Island. Take a few moments and check out some of our top online features and improvements. The rest is up to you to discover.
